Mice infected with influenza A H3N2 virus at three doses were analyzed for subsequent daily weight loss and survival over a period of 14 days. The mouse-adapted virus strain influenza A/HK/01/68 was used. Body weight loss is available for days 1 through 14. Overall survival and mortality rates are also available in this project. Viral loads, lung weights and leukocyte profiles from additional cohorts are available from females in Schughart4 and Schughart5.

Procedures conducted:
• body weight  Influenza A (H3N2) virus (several doses) vs. baseline. Several timepoints.
• health assessment  Survival rate, susceptibility, influenza A (H3N2) virus (several doses).
