Source Collaborative Cross mice were provided by Geniad Pty Ltd and bred at the Animal Resource Centre (Australia, WA, Perth); formal CC nomenclature (assigned by UNC) is used where possible. Collaborative Cross founder strains were obtained from The Jackson Laboratory and analyzed separately from the CC strains at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center (Montreal Quebec Canada).
