Female F1 hybrids of Collaborative Cross mice were infected with Influenza A virus (IAV) (H1N1) at 8-12 weeks of age. Influenza A virus (H1N1)-specific antibody responses were evaluated over a broad infection time course (day 7 through day 45). Variation in antibody response was determined for virus-specific immunoglobulin M (IgM) and IgG, as well as IgG subtypes. Area under curve (AUC) values were calculated for each sample, as AUC was determined to be the most inclusive measure to robustly capture the dynamic range of antibody levels. Haplotypes for Antibody Response to Influenza (Ari) loci are available for each F1 hybrid in a supplementary file download.
