Source Female C57BL/6J mice hemizygous for the 5XFAD transgene (B6.Cg-Tg(APPSweFlLon,PSEN1*M146L*L286V)6799Vas/Mmjax, Stock No. #34848-JAX) were mated to males from the BXD genetic reference panel (from University of Tennessee Health Science Center). As female B6.5XFAD mice are hemizygous, transgenic (ADtg) and non-transgenic (Ntg) F1 mice are generated.
