Supplier All mice were raised and maintained in colonies at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX®, Bar Harbor, ME) untill 6-11 wks of age Ages Mice were acclimated in the vivarium for 3 wks; phenotypic analysis conducted at 9-12 wks of age Feed Prolab® 5P76 Isopro® 3000 (PMI Nutritional International, Bentwood, MO) given ad libitum Water Ad libitum Housing5 mice per cage, separated by sex and strain in clear polycarbonate/ polysulfone cages (28 x 18 x 13 cm) topped with a polyester filter; cages by Allentown Inc.
