Additional Notes: The study consisted of 80 cohorts of the BXD population from 41 strains, 41 on chow diet (CD) and 39 on high fat diet (HFD); with male mice from each strain separated into 2 groups of about 5 mice for each diet. Initially the study started with 201 CD and 185 HFD treated mice, of which 183 CD and 168 HFD mice survived before being killed, with all cohorts having 3 or more survivors except BXD56 which had 2 surviving individuals.
