Late phase response to formalin injection was measured in Diversity Outbred mice genotyped for over 70,000 SNPs (SNP data can be retrieved from dodb.jax.org and searching on 'Recla' ). A QTL, Nociq4, was identified which contains the well-known pain gene Trpa1. Functional consequences of sequence variants in Trpa1 were characterized by isoform expression. These qRT-PCR data are available in a supplementary data file.

Procedures conducted:
• nociception assay  Formalin injection.
