Bone mineral density, body composition, and craniofacial characterization in 30 inbred strains of mice
Animals were assessed using densitometer dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) system. Several hormonal markers for bone growth and metabolism were also assayed.

These same mice were tested for acoustic startle response and prepulse inhibition at 5-7 weeks of age by the
Willott1 project and
subjected to a morphological examination of the eye at 6-7 weeks of age by the
Hawes1 project.
