To identify genomic regions that regulate systolic blood pressure, heart rate, and heart weight, F2 progeny were generated from an intercross involving BALB/cJ and CBA/CaJ. Mice were trained on Days 1-5 on the apparatus, and testing was conducted over Days 8-10. Tests generated 20 measurements per day. The mean for the testing period is reported for blood pressure and heart rate. Body and heart weights were determined after testing. See Sugiyama et al, 2002 for detailed protocols.
