Source of Mice: Collaborative Cross mice were obtained from the Systems Genetics Core Facility at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC)

Age (wks): 8-10 wks at testing

Breeding: Between 2012 and 2017, F1 hybrid mice were derived from intercrossing Collaborative Cross strains (CC RIX) at UNC in an SPF facility based on the principles outlined in Procedure 1

Test Facility: F1 hybrid female mice were transferring internally (UNC) to a BSL-3 facility

Care and Use Statement: Experiments were approved by UNC IACUC. The Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare of NIH approved UNC (#A3410-01). This study was carried out in strict compliance with PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use Of Laboratory Animals
