Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) is a key physiological component of asthma. To research the genetic basis of this complex trait, backcrosses between A/J and C3H/HeJ, A/J and C57BL/6J were generated to identify the QTLs associated with AHR. This is the data for the A/J x C3H cross with 372 female mice. For detailed protocols see Ackerman et al 2005.
