Search MPD

You can either do a native MPD database search or a Google MPD search.

  • MPD database search:

  • Searches the measurement descriptions and category names, strain names, project identifiers and investigator names, gene symbols and descriptions, and MPD web page titles. Does not examine text content of protocols or other web documents. It is usually best if just one key word is entered, and for longer words enter just the first few significant characters (for example to find both "ovary" and "ovarian" it would be best to enter ovar)

    Some search shortcuts are available:
If you know a project's MPD accession number enter eg: mpd143
If you know a measurement's number enter eg: mpd14308
If you know a strain's JAX stock number enter eg: jax000664

  • Google MPD search

  • Searches the text of all pages in the MPD web site. It's a good choice for finding protocol or other text content, and searching on loose phrases or terms.

Note: Google searches may not find very-recently-added content.
