An investigation of the pharmacokinetic differences of ethanol intoxication. Blood ethanol concentration (BEC) levels were determined before and after ethanol administration. This project has a complex study design involving multiple cohorts, as described in the protocol workflow table.

Procedures conducted:
• dowel balance test  Latency to fall 0 min and 30 min post-injection, 2 widths. Ethanol 2 g/kg.
• vertical wire mesh  Latency to fall 30 min post-injection. Ethanol 2 g/kg i.p.
• grip strength  Baseline vs. 30 min after ethanol 2 g/kg i.p.
• alcohol quantification  Blood alcohol concentration after ethanol 2 g/kg i.p., several timepoints.
