There has been one update or correction to the dataset since it was first released in Jun, 2005 RI progenitor strains are A/J and C57BL/6J. Comparison data for progenitor strains not included in Peters2 project data set but are available via Peters1. See also the similar inbred strains survey (Peters1) and cumulative C57BL/6J data (Peters3) The strain BXA17/PgnJ is now considered to be identical to BXA8/PgnJ.
