Purpose: Metadata on each MPD phenotypic measurement. One row per measurement.

Fields:

    cat=categorical (non-numeric) data
 
    crossover=mixed sign numeric; useful to know w/ certain computations
 
    linkflag=allows linkout to separate interface (eg. SNPs, images); the origin field holds link page

    isr=investigator-supplied ratio
 
    icf=investigator computed field

• Notes:   Full description of a measurment requires: description, units, intervention, intparm, appmeth, agewks and perhaps projsym and varname, depending

MPD category terms classify our pheno data with granularity based on compliment of data in MPD. Ontology mappings in prep.

In descriptions and units, symbols such as µ (micro) and ° (degrees), and formulaic constructs such as superscripts/subscripts, are represented using html constructs.
