Data changelog No updates/corrections.       Initial release date: 12/2010.
A reciprocal intercross of rat strain Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) and Fisher 344 (F344) was generated to identify quantitative trait locus (QTL) for depression-like behavior traits. The F2 generation was subjected to the forced swim test (FST) to measure the time of immobility, climbing and swimming. For detailed protocols, see Solberg et al. 2004.

This was a cross between rat strains thus no B37 map for data, the posted data is as provided by the authors. For more info on these rat strains please see RGD.

These tests were performed: 1) DB (15 minutes defensive burying test); 2) FST (5 minutes forced swim test); 3) OFT (10 minutes open-field test).
