Diet effects: salt-induced changes in blood pressure and heart rate in 11 inbred strains of mice

An investigation of salt-induced hypertension.
Animals were assessed for heart rate and systolic blood pressure using
Visitech BP-2000 blood pressure analysis system, in two cohorts:
1) controls with only tap water to drink;
2) treated with 1% salt in drinking water for 2-wks.
