Mice infected with influenza A H3N2 virus (one dose) were analyzed for daily weight loss for up to 30 days. The mouse-adapted virus strain influenza A/HK/01/68 was used. Lung weights are also available. Overall survival and mortality rates are available from females and males in Schughart3, and viral loads and leukocyte profiles are available in Schughart4.

Procedures conducted:
• body weight  Influenza A (H3N2) virus vs. controls. Several timepoints.
• organ weights  Lung weight. Animals infected with influenza A (H3N2) virus vs. controls.
